The Weight Within is a large-scale sculptural work that investigates the tension between vulnerability and resilience. Constructed from layered textile, resin and pigment, the sculpture combines organic forms with traces of physical intervention and material experimentation.
The folded and compressed structure suggests accumulation, containment and emotional weight. Dripping pigments and visible surface marks record the artist’s process, allowing the sculpture to function both as an object and as a document of transformation.
Luca Moretti’s practice centers on materiality, memory and the physical traces left behind through making. The Weight Within invites viewers to consider the unseen forces that shape identity and experience.
